Arope Life Insurance Egypt an Egyptian Joint Stock Company (S.A.E.) Commercial Registration No. 33542 and registered under No. 25 of 2008 in the Register of Insurance Companies held by the Financial Regulatory Authority.
Arope Life Insurance Egypt hereby announces that it is in the process of taking the necessary procedures to modify its licensed business activity by engaging in Microinsurance business instead of Life Insurance business.
The Company would like to confirm that all existing policies currently in force, as well as all policies previously issued by the Company, will be handled in accordance with the regulations and provisions set forth in the Financial Regulatory Authority Board Resolution No. 320 of 2025 concerning the rules and procedures for amending the licenses of companies engaged in Life Insurance and Capital Formation activities or Property and Liability Insurance activities to engage in Microinsurance business.
This action comes in response to the desire of the Company’s shareholders and Board of Directors, as resolved at the Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on 08/04/2026.
The Company invites policyholders, beneficiaries, and all other interested parties to submit any objections to the Financial Regulatory Authority within a period not exceeding one month from the date of publication of this announcement, provided that such objections are supported by the relevant evidence. This announcement has obtained the approval of the Financial Regulatory Authority on 21/05/2026.
